SOWA

SoWa Art Walk 2005 in the South End of Boston was a great opportunity to meet some very nice people and the show went well for me in terms of interest and pieces sold, as well. Again, interesting people to meet and talk with was one of the highlights for me.

Upcoming:

  • I will be in a three person show at Boulevard Gallery in Newport, Rhode Island this July.
  • I will be represented by Perdurabo Art Ltd in Spain in the near future. Besides being a very fine art gallery one of the benefits to being affiliated with them will be possibility of being represented via them at international art fairs which they routinely participate in as artist representatives.

Glass Flowers

The Harvard Musuem of Natural History in Cambridge, Mass, has a collection of glass flowers that is one of the most incredible exhibitions I can remember seeing.

"The Glass Flowers are a unique collection of over 3,000 models of plants painstakingly and accurately crafted in glass by Leopold and Rudolph Blaschka, father and son. The project spanned five decades from 1886 to 1936. The Glass Flowers are described as a marvel of art in the field of science and a marvel of science in the field of art."
